Precautions for operation and use of centrifugal pumps

When we use the centrifugal pump for the first time, what should we pay attention to? Here are some tips.

1) After injecting liquid into the pump body for the first time, it is generally not necessary to inject liquid again. However, if the shutdown time is long or the seal leaks after the shutdown, the liquid in the pump will be lost. Before starting the pump for the second time, check the internal fluid condition of the pump. Fill up with fluid before driving.

2) Check whether the rotation direction of the motor is consistent with the rotation direction mark of the pump, do not reverse it!

3) When it is not used for a long time in winter, the liquid in the pump body should be drained to avoid freezing and malfunction.

4) The pump body must be filled with liquid to start running, and empty running is strictly prohibited. If the pump fails to discharge liquid within 7 to 10 minutes within the specified self-priming height range, it should be stopped immediately to check the reason, mainly to check whether there is air leakage in the inlet pipe, so as to prevent the working fluid in the pump from heating up and damaging the pump.
